OUR COMMITMENT
At ApexStack, we recognise that responsible business practices are fundamental to long-term success. Our Environmental, Social, and Governance commitments guide every decision we make, from how we architect cloud solutions to how we support the communities around us.
ApexStack is committed to operating as a responsible corporate citizen. As a cloud engineering and digital transformation company, we occupy a unique position at the intersection of technology and enterprise operations, giving us both the opportunity and the obligation to drive positive change. Our ESG framework is embedded into our corporate strategy, informing how we deliver services, engage with partners, develop our people, and govern our operations. We believe that sustainable, ethical, and inclusive practices are not just the right thing to do; they are essential to building a resilient business that creates lasting value for our clients, employees, shareholders, and the communities we serve.
Environment
We leverage our position as a cloud-first organisation to minimise environmental impact, both within our own operations and across the enterprises we serve.
Every cloud workload consumes energy. ApexStack helps clients architect and optimise their cloud environments to run more efficiently, reducing unnecessary compute cycles, eliminating idle resources, and right-sizing infrastructure to match actual demand. By engineering leaner, smarter cloud deployments, we directly contribute to lowering the energy consumption associated with enterprise IT operations.
We partner exclusively with hyperscale cloud providers, including Amazon Web Services, Microsoft Azure, and Google Cloud, all of whom have made significant commitments to powering their data centres with renewable energy. By guiding our clients to these platforms and helping them take advantage of carbon-aware regions and sustainability dashboards, we extend the environmental benefits of cloud computing throughout our client base.
Our dedicated FinOps practice goes beyond cost management. By identifying and eliminating wasted cloud resources, orphaned storage volumes, over-provisioned instances, and redundant data transfers, we reduce the energy footprint of every environment we manage. Efficient cloud spending and environmental stewardship are two sides of the same coin, and we treat them as such.
ApexStack operates with a remote-first approach across our global offices. By enabling our engineers to work from wherever they are most productive, we significantly reduce commute-related carbon emissions, decrease demand for office energy consumption, and minimise the environmental impact of business travel. Where in-person collaboration is needed, we prioritise shared workspaces and sustainable travel options.
Governance
Strong governance underpins everything we do. We hold ourselves to the highest standards of ethical conduct, transparency, and accountability in every aspect of our business.
ApexStack maintains a zero-tolerance policy towards bribery, corruption, and unethical business practices. All employees, contractors, and partners are required to adhere to our Code of Business Conduct, which sets clear expectations for integrity, fairness, and compliance with applicable laws and regulations in every jurisdiction where we operate.
As a company that handles sensitive enterprise data, we take data protection and privacy extremely seriously. Our data handling practices comply with GDPR, CCPA, and other applicable privacy regulations. We implement robust technical and organisational measures to safeguard personal and corporate data, and we regularly audit our processes to maintain the highest standards of information security. For full details, please refer to our Privacy Notice.
We believe that transparency builds trust. ApexStack is committed to open and honest communication with our stakeholders about our ESG performance, including both our achievements and the areas where we are working to improve. Our leadership team reviews ESG metrics on a quarterly basis and reports progress to key stakeholders annually.
We hold our vendors, partners, and suppliers to the same high standards we set for ourselves. ApexStack conducts thorough due diligence on all third-party relationships, assessing environmental practices, labour standards, data handling policies, and ethical conduct before entering into any partnership or procurement agreement. Ongoing monitoring ensures continued alignment with our values throughout the duration of every engagement.
Looking Ahead
We are committed to setting measurable targets and holding ourselves accountable for progress against them. The following goals guide our ESG roadmap.
Achieve carbon-neutral operations across all ApexStack offices and business travel by 2030. Help 100% of managed-service clients access cloud sustainability reporting tools by the end of 2027. Reduce wasted cloud resources across our managed portfolio by at least 40% year over year through FinOps-driven optimisation initiatives.
Increase representation from underrepresented groups in technical leadership roles by 25% by 2028. Deliver 10,000 hours of community technology education and mentorship annually by 2027. Maintain an employee wellbeing satisfaction score of 85% or higher, measured through anonymous annual surveys.
Complete annual third-party audits of our data protection and privacy practices. Achieve and maintain ISO 27001 certification across all operating entities. Ensure 100% of employees and contractors complete ethics and compliance training annually.
Accountability
ApexStack is committed to publishing an annual ESG report that transparently documents our progress, challenges, and objectives across all three pillars of environmental, social, and governance performance. This report will be made available to clients, partners, employees, and the public, reinforcing our belief that accountability is the foundation of meaningful change. We welcome feedback from all stakeholders and encourage open dialogue about how we can continue to improve our impact.

Social
Social Responsibility.
Our people are at the heart of everything we do. We are committed to building an inclusive, supportive, and empowering workplace while making a positive impact in the broader community.
Diversity and Inclusion
ApexStack is dedicated to building diverse teams that reflect the global communities in which we operate. We actively recruit from underrepresented groups in the technology sector, implement bias-aware hiring practices, and foster a culture where every voice is heard and valued. Our diversity and inclusion programme includes targeted outreach, mentorship initiatives, and regular reviews of our recruitment and promotion processes to identify and remove barriers to equal opportunity.
Community Engagement and Tech Education
We believe that access to technology education is a powerful driver of social mobility. ApexStack supports cloud skills training programmes, sponsors open-source learning initiatives, and partners with local educational institutions to provide mentorship, workshops, and scholarship opportunities for aspiring technologists. Our engineers regularly volunteer their time to community coding programmes and tech mentorship schemes across the regions where we operate.
Employee Wellbeing and Mental Health
The wellbeing of our team members is a priority, not an afterthought. ApexStack offers comprehensive health and wellness benefits, flexible working arrangements, and access to mental health support resources for all employees. We promote healthy work-life boundaries, provide dedicated wellbeing days, and maintain an open-door culture where team members feel safe discussing challenges without stigma.
Fair Labour Practices
Across all of our global offices, ApexStack upholds fair labour standards that meet or exceed local regulatory requirements. We ensure competitive compensation, transparent employment terms, equal pay for equal work, and safe working conditions for every team member, regardless of their location or role within the organisation.
